Our Founding
Back in Liverpool, our founder Paul Turner had one mission — to create skateboards that actually felt alive.
What started as a garage project with a few friends quickly became something bigger. As local skaters started riding Paul’s hand-built decks, word spread. The balance was sharper. The pop was better. The ride just hit different.
Fast forward to today — Scaters has grown into one of the UK’s most exciting skateboard brands. We still design and test every board right here in Liverpool, keeping that raw street DNA in every curve and cut.

Every Scaters design starts on paper — literally. We sketch, tweak, and test. Then we head out to real parks and streets to see how each deck feels.
Our riders help refine the design — from deck flex to truck angle to wheel hardness — until the board performs perfectly.
We don’t release anything we wouldn’t skate ourselves.
